Purpose
Stichting MOTAS for Kids supports children in disadvantaged circumstances with their education and personal development. We want to create a stable and stimulating learning environment in which children can grow, learn and develop.
Our current area of work is Cañete in Peru.
Main points of our policy
We work together with local schools, teachers, parents and communities. They know best what is needed. Our work is divided into two programmes:
- Education programme: learning, sports and creative materials and activities that match what children and teachers need.
- Reconstruction programme: together with schools, we improve the place where children learn, so that the school becomes a safe and pleasant environment.
We raise funds through donations, fundraisers, schools and impact partners. We publish the full policy plan on this page.
Board
- Gerardo Mollen, chair
- Hans Mollen, treasurer
- Brenda, board member
- Two board positions will be filled soon
Remuneration policy
The foundation’s board members receive no remuneration for their duties as board members. Expenses they incur may be reimbursed.
Activities and financial accountability
At the end of each financial year, we publish a report on our activities and our financial statements here. That way, you can see what we have done and how the money has been spent.
